Transition Sitka First Annual Membership Meeting and Election of Board Officers (POSTPONED!)

POSTPONED UNTIL SEPTEMBER – Join Transition Sitka’s dedicated core group on Wed. June 28 from 6:30 pm-8pm, at the See House, behind St. Peter’s on Lincoln St., for an in-person meeting and introductory presentation.

The agenda will include:

• 6:30-7pm – Business meeting and annual election of our board of directors
• 7-8pm – Overview of the organization’s goals and objectives, history of the “Transition Town” movement (the inspiration for our local group), and reports on our ongoing projects: electrification of building heat and land transport; and status update of a community gardens proposal submitted to the Planning Department.
